Cristo é luz. Cristo é a luz que proporciona à nossa visão abrangência, profundidade e unidade. Sem sua luz, nossa visão estaria limitada à dimensão parcial e, nosso espírito não poderia se mover para além de si mesmo, para a liberdade infinita. . .Por mais maravilhosa que fosse, nossa consciência continuaria a ser a de um observador na periferia. . . . Em vez disso, graças ao poder dessa luz, nosso centro de consciência se move para além dos limites das preocupações egoístas e, descobrimos que nosso verdadeiro centro está em Deus. A maneira como cada um de nós inicia esta jornada não é tão importante quanto, na verdade, que a iniciemos de fato. Para iniciarmos, só nos é necessário adentrar um momento de compromisso, uma fenda na muralha do ego permite a entrada da luz que iluminará mais e mais poderosamente e, com firmeza sobrepujará tudo aquilo que impede a translucidez.
O momento de compromisso está sempre diante de nós. Não é nunca um ideal ausente, ou uma possibilidade futura, mas, sempre uma realidade presente. A única pergunta é se estamos suficientemente presentes para nós mesmos, de modo a reconhecer e responder. Todo momento é o momento, porque todo o tempo foi energizado com significado divino. . . Agora, é o momento aceitável.
Todo momento de nossa vida cotidiana é de vital importância, visto que esse mistério de transformação opera em nós e, através de nós, pelo poder de Cristo. Nenhum detalhe é insignificante, se observado sob a verdadeira luz. . . Cada momento é de suprema importância porque todo momento nos convida à expansão do mistério e da vida e luz da verdade.

Christ is light. Christ is the light that gives range and depth and unity to our vision. Without Christ’s light our vision would be tied to the partial and our spirit could not move beyond itself into the infinite liberty. . . . Our consciousness would, however wonderful, remain an observer on the periphery. . . .Instead, thanks to the power of this light, our center of consciousness moves beyond the limits of self-preoccupation and we discover that our true center is in God. How any of us come to begin this journey is not so important as that we do in fact begin. To begin, it is only necessary to enter into one moment of commitment—one chink in the wall of the ego allows in the light that will flow in more powerfully and will steadily overcome anything that prevents translucence.
The moment of commitment is always upon us. It is never an absent ideal or future possibility. It is always a present reality. The only question is whether we are sufficiently present to ourselves to recognize and respond. Every moment is the moment because all time has been charged with divine meaning. . . . Now is the acceptable time. Every moment of our day-to-day life is of vital importance, as this mystery of transformation is worked out in us and through us by the power of Christ. No detail is insignificant if it is seen in the true light. . .Each moment is of supreme importance because every single moment invites us into the expansion of the mystery and the life and light of truth.
